Our monthly Circle of Practice is an opportunity for people who are working on social and environmental justice to come together each month for connection and renewal. Together we learn about and share practices that keep us grounded, we get to know each other in an authentic way, and we give ourselves the place and time to just “be” together.
From January – June, 2016 we will be working with the theme of “what is our deepest longing,” particularly during these turbulent times in which we need to feel steady, balanced, and grounded. Where we put our attention and focus our intention is critical. This community can support you on that journey!
We meet on the second Thursday of each month from 8-9:30 a.m.: January 14, February 11, March 10, April 14, May 12, and June 9. (We will then assess our summer schedule). Locations vary, but are typically in the downtown/CD/south Seattle area.
While you don’t have to commit to the entire six months, it is helpful to have that consistency, both for you and for the group.
If you would like to be on our email list to be notified of our next Circle, contact us.
“It was both calming and energizing to be with such wonderful people. There aren’t any other spaces in which we stop talking about what work we’re doing and instead talk about how we do our work. This conversation is important to making this work sustainable, and I hope it continues for a long time!” — Shankar Naraynan, ACLU
